"Like it or not, 11 has always been a meaningful number for me. The month for this number is November, and I was born in November. Since that day, the number has been associated with some of the most significant events in my life.

Qualities that have been associated with the number 11 include intuition, honesty, sensitivity, idealism, artistry, invention and the avatar – traits that I associate with both my work and my life.

By definition, eleven is also the cardinal number equal to 10 + 1 – or the first two digit prime number – a strong message. As a prime number, it is linked to perfection.

It also represents synchronicity and balance.
Gotta have those.

I work in a digital medium, which involves binary language based on zeros and ones. As in 1 and 1. Or 11. For mathematicians, 11 is harmonious with Pi (π), an irrational number but a mathematical constant.

In both astrology and numerology, 11 is considered to be a “master number”. Astrologically, the eleventh house is the home of ones hopes and desires.

When broken down in numerology, 11 equates to two
(1+ 1), which stands for duality, as in the distinction of body and mind. People with this number are often both idealists and visionaries, interesting and unusual, and attracted to the unknown. Sound familiar?

Speaking of attractions, the sun spot cycle, with its intense magnetic field, repeats every 11 years. Hmmm.

And speaking of the heavens, the first lunar landing was …

Did I mention roman numeral for eleven? It is XI, that's what our logo represents. Or it could be also written in lower case xi.
(So our name could be writen: xi pixels lab)

While we humans live in a four-dimensional world, modern-day mathematicians speculate that our universe is actually made up of … wait for it … 11 dimensions.

When it comes to time, 11:11 is said to be the subconscious “time prompt” of our guardian spirits, a pre-encoded trigger in our cellular memory that pops up repeatedly when we are nearing a gateway to ascension. In other words, a wake-up call.

Eleven is also regarded as the sacred number of the pyramids. In fact, if you multiply 1111 by 1111, you 1234321 which represents a pyramid.

Of course, there is the historical significance of the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.

For what it’s worth, 11 is also one of those rare numbers that reads the same both backwards and upside down. I’m not sure what that says about me.

And as brilliantly noted in “This Is Spinal Tap”, it’s one more than 10, isn’t it?

So you see, for me, 11 is a magic number. It can be for you, as well. "
